WIP Wednesday: Brooklyn Tweedy up in here

I tried explaining the excitement of starting a new project to Matt the other night. He came home from work and was immediately flustered by my excitement over the possibility of another KAL(ish) and the new Wool People collection. I batted my eyelashes and asked if he would buy me yet another bit of yarn.

"Please, sir, may I have some more?"
"MOOOOOOOOOOORE?!"

I kid, I kid.

I explained the excitement of starting a new project, likening it to winning a new chess match, and he seemed to get the picture. Which is why my yarn for Levenwick by Gudrun Johnson is on its way! I actually bought one skein of the yarn to design a hat for fall, but when it arrived I fell in love and, with the publication of Wool People, I decided it would make the perfect cardigan. So I spent last night knitting my way through my first (and only) skein of yarn.

All I have to say is that it better get here fast! And that I'm almost done with my Rock Island edging. Finally! Things are beginning to shape up for fall.

Felicity hat, Levenwick, and Rock Island
Happy knitting! Cross your fingers my yarnz arrive soon.
